While you're staying at home and keeping safe, why not enter the 2020 Staying Blue Essay Contest? Now accepting ALL submissions (no limit per school) ages 8-11 and 12-15. Please remember to put your School, Class Teacher, Name, Age and Word Count, on the submission.

To participate: Students must write and submit an essay on the topic:

  • WHAT DOES STAYING BLUE MEAN TO YOU?

Categories

  • Primary School: Ages 8-11 years – MAXIMUM 250 words.

  • High School: Ages 12-15 years – MAXIMUM 500 words.


Prizes for each category

  • 1st Place: iPAD AIR

  • 2nd Place: iPad

  • 3rd Place: iPad Mini

The schools with the 1st place winners will receive a Desktop Computer, a Printer and $500 shopping spree at Graceway Supermarkets.

A panel of independent judges will review essays on grammar, creativity, language and content. Contestants keep the rights to their work but grant Graceway Communities, Graceway Trading Limited and group companies the rights to reproduce their work including in print and online, whether alone or in an anthology.
