Graceway Communities welcomes kids back to school on North Caicos and South Caicos
To celebrate the upcoming start to the new school year in Turks and Caicos, Graceway Communities recently visited the islands of North Caicos and South Caicos for back-to-school fairs to get kids excited and ready for the new year.
On Wednesday, Aug. 24, we held a "Cultural Fun Day" on North Caicos at the beautiful Casuarina Garden Trail on Horse Stable Beach, and on Saturday, Aug. 26, we hosted a "Carnival Affair" at the Sports Stadium on South Caicos that ended with a movie night.
Not only did the kids enjoy face painting, cultural games, and an appearance by the TCI Dolls mascots—but they all also received backpacks, fully packed lunchboxes, and school supply kits to kick off the new school term.
This year, we catered to nearly 800 students across the islands, including staff.
Supporting the youth of TCI
Graceway Communities—the social and charitable arm of Graceway Supermarkets—has provided school supplies to our staff for several years, and this year we were thrilled to include the children of North, Middle, and South Caicos in our back-to-school giveaway.
We wish kids across the Turks and Caicos a fun and successful new academic year and look forward to supporting them in their journeys!
