Coins and cash donated at the cashier check out at Graceway Supermarkets stores is donated to various charities around the islands. On Tuesday, the Salvation Army was the recipient. The cheque was presented on Tuesday to Todd Foss, Advisory Board Chair of the Salvation Army, by Graceway Supermarkets Public Relations and Communication manager, Latoya Walkin.

Graceway Supermarkets captures two UNFI awards

UNFI has revealed the 22 category winners of its annual Master Marketer competition and Graceway Supermarkets has been awarded the Tier 1 Master Marketer and the Public Service/ Community Tier winner of 2021. The International Master Marketer competition is held annually and recognizes best-in-class marketing efforts by independent grocery retailers served by UNFI’s wholesale distribution business.

Commenting on the Achievement Managing Director of Graceway Supermarkets Chris Phillips said “We are delighted to have received both the Tier 1 Master Marketer and Public Service / Community award for 2021. Having served the Turks and Caicos Islands for 22 years, we take our Corporate responsibilities seriously and we thanked our partners at UNFI for recognizing our values to serve.”

Graceway Supermarkets has been supporting local communities in the Turks and Caicos Islands since 1998 and in early 2019 we introduced Graceway Communities, an umbrella for all our social and charitable efforts for the good of the Turks and Caicos Islands.

One hundred and fifty-five marketing programs were submitted for the 2021 Master Marketer awards, which are judged based on the creativity, clarity and effectiveness of the stores’ marketing efforts. Entries were assessed by professors and marketing students from St. Joe’s University, University of Wisconsin and University of Michigan.

The winning entries included the Snap center Project, The Ashley’s Learning Center playground restoration project, Earth Day and Show yourself TCI.

The Master Marketer event is held annually in conjunction with the UNFI National Sales EXPO.

Our register charity of the month is the Middle Caicos pantry 🇹🇨 Donate to help them assist the elderly within their community, those who are struggling from day to day, such as the single mothers, unemployed and persons living with a disability 🪙 You can find donation boxes at our check out counters.
